Guest guest
I know public outreach (like radio/tv programs, newspaper articles, leafleting) is crucial for education, but I am also realistic that I shouldn't expect someone to denounce their current diet/value system on the spot. Egotistically, I think it's way too difficult for people, myself included. I *do* think that information can slowly impact a person as they have time to think about it and they may eventually go veg or reduce animal-product consumption. More than anything, being vegan has taught me that I must have patience and compassion for people with where they're at. I also have to be willing to actively live my ethics since talking about them has limited impact. In the two years that I've been vegan, three people in my life have become vegan and about six that I know of have drastically reduced their consumption of animal products.
