Guest guest
To go out to 10Ks, half marathons, marathons, cycling centuries and triathlons to kick some carnivore butt. Idea would be to race as a team, raise awareness. Serious athletes please. Or does anyone know of any such teams? Too often one hears the " pale, wan, unhealthy " vegetarian stereotype, typically from fat-assed meat eaters, ironically enough. Let's show them what being really healthy is all about, in the great tradition of Dave Scott.
Guest guest
A clarification of " serious athletes " , in response to a couple of questions. Mainly looking for others that are interested in the types of events I mentioned, but you don't need to be super competitive. We'd be following in the footsteps of Dave Scott, but not necessarily keeping up with him. Team could be for fun, mutual support, and awareness raising, but not performance enhancing as such. But then again, it would be open to what people are interested in. Just exploring the waters. I'll compile a list of interested people, and if we have enough, maybe I'll create a new list. sfBAVeg , " waredo " <waredo> wrote: > To go out to 10Ks, half marathons, marathons, cycling centuries and > triathlons to kick some carnivore butt.
