Guest guest
You're invited to a West African Vegetarian Cooking Class this Saturday! Roxana Chowdhury, born and raised in the tropical West African country of Sierra Leone, will teach folks to make vegetarian-style African foods such as sweet fried plantains, groundnut stew (a peanutty sauce over brown rice) along with a " Krio salad " and sauteed spinach. She did a trial-run the other night and I was able to sample this meal. It was so yummy! The class is $20 and is from 10 a.m. to noon (ish) at the First Unitarian Universalist Society of San Francisco. Please e-mail me if you'd like to come! This is a fundraiser for my church.
