Guest guest
after reading about lyman's coffee meetings at peet's in san mateo, i'd also like to offer up/suggest the cafe i work at on the weekends here on the coast (el granada, near half moon bay). it's a smallish shop - plenty of room for 8 to 10 folks or maybe even more if the weather's right outside - plus it's independently owned and we serve some of the best coffee in the area. we have torrefazione (for now) on espresso and drip - and organic, fair trade adam's (from sf) on drip as well. we have great breakfasts and lunchs with vegetarian and a few vegan options - and you can't beat the view of the ocean (whether or not it's overcast!). the shop is called twinberry and is located right off the 1 just a few miles north of 92. i work saturday and sunday mornings - but the cafe is open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. so yeah, let me know if anyone would like to come down and check it out. peace, lisa Help the planet each day!
