query: Veg*an restaurants in downtown Oakland and Berkeley

Hi everyone,

 

Starting July 4th, the American Theater Organ Society will be holding its

national convention

hosted by the Nor-Cal theater organ society.

We expect several hundred people to show up from all over the country, and the

conference coordinator has asked me (the club's resident vegan and also one of

the convention hospitality people) to come up with a list of vegetarian, vegan,

and vegetarian-friendly restaurants near the conference hotel (City Center

Marriott, 1001 Broadway) as well as near the Grand Lake, Paramount and Berkeley

Community theaters. I know a few in Berkeley but I don't have a good sense for

downtown oakland.

 

Can you give some recommendations?

 

I plan to have a stack of lists of these restaurants at the hospitality table...

also plan to add other info such as vegan outreach URL if I can get away with

it.
