You are invited to join a new for Jewish vegetarians, vegans and

those interested in Jewish vegetarianism, including our non-Jewish friends.

This is associated with Veggie Jews and can be accessed at

Veggie Jews will guarantee that you receive invitations to Veggie Jews

community events. It will also allow you to post on-topic e-mails to the

" Veggie Jews " is a new organization with events for those of Jewish heritage

who are vegetarians, vegans or

interested in vegetarianism. The group's primary purposes are to provide

support for Jewish vegans and vegetarians and spread the vegetarian message

to the

Jewish community, but our gentile friends are always welcome. This is not a

religious or singles group

although religious and single people are invited.

 

The first Veggie Jews' event will be a brunch at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, July

6, 2003, (and every few weeks thereafter if there is interest). The

location in San Francisco is Herbivore II at 531 Divisadero (near Fell,

415-885-7133)

where numerous, really great, vegan breakfast options are available at

reasonable prices. [Please note that this is NOT the Valencia Street

Herbivore.]

 

RSVPs are required ASAP. Only the first 15 RSVPs can
