We are currently fostering a beautiful stray puppy and I have so far been unable to find any vegan dog food. We also have a cat and have long been feeding him a dry food containing animal products. Again, we have never been able to find any vegan cat food. And then there is the question of whether it is actually healthy to feed dogs and cats a vegan diet? Anyhow, I would be grateful for any tips or experiences any of you would like to share on this subject. Thanks! Joanna I have fed my dogs Natures Recipe vegetarian kibble for years and they seem to thrive on it. It is now called " allergy " recipe. Also Wow Bow has vegetarian dog food and treats. These both meet all the requirements for dogs. I'm not sure about cats but I know a lot of people who have vegan cats. There's an additive called Vege Cats that can be added that has all the nutrients needed. A cat person can probably give you more info.
