Hi. I am a Bay Area Vegan. I have been vegan for almost two

months. I was vegan for a year up until December of 2001...then fell

off the wagon for a year or so and now I am back.

 

I have a question. How do you other vegans make sure to get your

daily protein requirement in? I know it is about 60-70 grams for the

average adult.

 

I exercise a lot and I am sickened by some of the health and exercise

websites. They claim that a male exercising regularly should take in

almost 200g of protein a day!!!! And these guys are not vegan...all

those poor animals are being eaten just so they can become meatheads

with no neck! How sad!

 

So, any info on how you make sure you get your daily requirement

would be helpful..
