" Veggie Jews " is hosting a brunch at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, July

6, 2003, (and periodically thereafter if there is interest). The

location is Herbivore II at 531 Divisadero (near Fell, 415-885-7133)

where numerous, really great, vegan breakfast options are available at

reasonable prices. [Please note that this is NOT the Valencia Street

Herbivore.]

 

" Veggie Jews " is a new organization with events for those of Jewish heritage

who are vegetarians, vegans or interested in vegetarianism. The group's

primary purposes are to provide

support for Jewish vegans/vegetarians and spread the vegan/vegetarian

message to the

Jewish community, but our gentile friends are always welcome. The group

exists both online as a through which members can easily

communicate with the group and as a community group with periodic local

events. This is not a religious or singles group although religious and

single people are invited.

 

RSVPs are required ASAP. Due to the restaurant's policy, only the first 15

RSVPs can be accepted. RSVP to veggiejews.
