help, need a couple more veg friendly restaurants in downtown berkeley.

Thanks to everyone who offered info on veg friendly restaurants around Oakland

city center. But now I find out that the convention committee is also looking

for restaurants around Berkeley.

 

The venue will be Berkeley Community Theater, which houses the largest theater

pipe organ in the bay area (ha! and you thought the organ at the Paramount

really rocked.) -- which is located on Allston between Milvia and MLK.

 

with Vege House gone, I know of two: the Cancun Mexican food place on Allston

and an

really great Indian place on university. Any others I can add to my 'tourist

map'
