August is " Grass-n-Lake " .. get it? :-) Cheers, Tammy Pam Webb [webbveg] Come to a vegan food picnic at Lake Temescal in Oakland on August 2, 2003 at 12;30 pm. Meet at the Broadway Terrace end of the lake. Look for the blue and white striped sun tent. Bring vegan food to share , your own plate and utensils and a blanket to sit on if benches not available. There is parking at both ends of this lake, but there is a $4.00 charge. However, off Broadway Terr. you can park on street in neighborhood and walk down to lake. You may also park at Broadway end of lake which will require about half mile walk to get to our picnic area. There is swimming allowed on Broadway end for charge of $3.00.
