Subject: CCV July Potluck: Following Tammy's Orders! ;-)

WARNING: My tongue is in my cheek right now. Where's

yours? :-)

I have been officially informed by list mistress Tammy

that my recent posts for the Contra Costa Vegetarians'

potlucks have been lacking in entertainment value (ie,

boring). She has decreed that I have a large loyal

lurking audience who suffered mass disappointment that

my last posts were not funny (actually, they were--the

humor was just really, really, really subtle :-). But

apparently they did not meet the standards that Admin

Tammy has set for me. If only I had known that I had

my own personal humor charter!

I feel honored, of course, but now the pressure is on

to perform! Now I know how poor Tor felt when I

promoted his famous delicious mousse as the reason to

come to our potlucks and then the chocolate chips

wouldn't melt that day! He was so traumatized by the

experience that he has refused to make the mousse for

the foreseeable future. Fortunately, he has passed

the mousse scepTOR on to me, and Tammy, after

ingesting my first official attempt, has proclaimed me

the new mousse masTOR (geez--is she drunk with power

or what?). Have no fear, for I plan to use my new

mousse power solely for good (taste, of course). And

so far, my chocolate chips have melted dutifully.

So, if I made Tammy smile, hopefully she will consider

this post worthy of my abilities. If I made you

smile, hopefully you will join us at the next CCV

potluck:
