last reminder for hike and some tips/directions

Just a last reminder about the hike on Mount Tamalpais this Saturday, July 12.

We will be meeting at 10:30 at the Pantoll Ranger Station.

We will be taking the steep ravine hike down to Stinson Beach. It may be cold on

the beach so bring a jacket or sweater just in case. You may also want to bring

a beach towel or blanket. Don't forget to pack a lunch for yourself for a beach

picnic.

You can either hike back to Pantoll Station from the beach or take a bus back.

There will be two separate groups for each. I believe the cost from Stinson

beach to Pantoll station is somewhere around a few dollars so bring some money

for that if you are taking the bus back.

Also, to get there you may need to take some windy roads so for people who tend

to get car sick it's a good idea to eat some crystallized ginger candy or take a

ginger supplement before heading out which helps with travel sickness.
