Invitation to Veggie Jews 8/22 Shabbat pot luck dinner in San Francisco

You are invited to Veggie Jews' August 22, 2003, Shabbat pot luck starting at 7

p.m. in San Francisco.

 

Volunteer host Efrat Stark has kindly opened her Noe Valley home to Veggie Jews

for our second monthly Shabbat pot luck. (A volunteer for September is still

needed.) As Efrat is new to our community let's give her a big turn-out so she

can make lots of new friends. Everyone attending should bring a vegan dish with

about 8 portions or vegan wine (as vegan is the lowest common denominator that

all veggies can eat). Please note that most wine, including kosher, is " fined "

(clarified) with isinglass (tropical fish guts) so please check with the

manufacturer if you are planning to bring wine. Also, please let Efrat know so

we don't have lots of wine and too little food.
