Guest guest
Good news everyone, Golden Era now has lunch plates! They have a one page menu of about 15 or 20 of their main entrees which can be ordered as a lunch plate and includes a hill of rice (white or brown) -- cost $5.50 and served from 11am - 4pm. This price, while slightly on the high side, is definitely competitive with other rice plates around the city. I had the #48 pineapple " beef " -- very yummy! And it seems to be luring in the customers -- there were 7 people there when I was there about noon today, which is the most I've ever seen there in the middle of the day. For those of you who haven't been there yet, Golden Era is a great vegan restaurant at 572 O'Farrell Street (near Leavenworth.) -- wide selection of Asian cuisine and all the meat is made from veggie ingredients and is highly imitative.
