Dear Activist,

 

 

 

Whole Foods Market will celebrate its 25th anniversary on January 25 by

allocating 5 percent of total sales to create the Animal Compassion Foundation,

which will promote improved care of farmed animals. According to the Chair and

CEO of Whole Foods, “By creating the foundation, Whole Foods Market is

pioneering an entirely new way for people to relate to farm animals, with the

animals’ welfare becoming the most important goal.”

 

 

 

PETA encourages you to visit one of the 166 Whole Foods Market locations in the

United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom on January 25 in order to support

this initiative to improve animal welfare standards. To thank Whole Foods for

its commitment to providing quality vegan food and send the message that the

most compassionate diet is one free of all animal products, please buy only

vegan foods from Whole Foods on January 25.
