All,

Are you interested in Indian foods ? Do you feel that the resturants

do not completely satisfy your appetite ? Do you want to make your

own healthy version of Indian diets ?

Sangita Das is an expert on Indian Diet Cuisines. She started

cooking as a hobby specializing in Bengali Cuisines. Having lived in

various parts of India she has extended her expertise beyond the

State of Bengal to rest of India.

Sangita is a dietician from India with an MS degree in Nutrition

Science. Her work trained her in Naturopathic Diets in various

hospitals in India.

The west has vegetarianism, but India has incorporated elements of

Ayurveda in it's own version.

Most vegetarian diets may not be palatable, but Sangita worked in

hospitals where she was in charge of the kitchen, and thus had to

make the recipies exciting to the patients.

Some of the hospitals she worked in are as follows, Mallaya Appolo

in Bangalore, Yoga and Nature Cure Hospital in Dharmasthala near

Mangalore, and Institute of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences in

Bangalore.

She has a book of her most popular Nature Diet recipies. It sells at

various centers for natural healing, in India. In the Bay Area, her

book can be found in the EastWest Bookstore in Mountain View. The

book sells for $5.

She has had several cooking shows on TV broadcast channel ETV

Kannada in Bangalore.

She has conducted a powerpoint workshop of recipies for Obesity,

Brain-Boost, and Bengali Cuisines at the EastWest Bookstore.

One can buy this whole presentation on a data DVD (1 GIG) containing

powerpoint slides, and MPEG videos. The DVD sells for $10.

Sangita can instruct/organize workshops on Indian vegetarian and non-

vegetarian recipes, and diet recipies for various diseases.

Rates are $25 for a 2 hour class, per person. Contact 831-375-5144

to leave a message.

Regards,
