As noted in the original announcement, pouring rain trumps paper leaflets:

 

Today's event of leafleting at KFC at 20th & Irving on behalf of the PETA

campaign, ( www.Kentuckyfriedcruelty.com ), followed by a letter-writing lunch

at Shangri-la is Restaurant postponed due to today's stormy weather. A new

date will be posted soon. Thank you to all interested parties for your patience

and your concern for the animals affected by the practices of KFC.
