Studio/room to rent to vegetarian or vegan

We are meditators, vegetarian and vegan, very quiet and seek someone

who is equally quiet. No smokers. No drug users. No abusers of

alcohol. We have a very well behaved dog and welcome another small,

non-barking dog.

 

Rent includes utilities, wireless DSL, cable TV and washer/ drier.

Parking is on the street.

 

This is not a " roommate " type situation. This room doesn't share

space with the living area of our house so it basically is a one

room " studio apartment. " With it's own entrance; it has complete

privacy and is best suited for someone who wants to live alone with

others nearby.

 

This studio-room is on the ground floor along with our home office

and a pottery studio. We live on the second floor of the house. The

dimensions of the room are 13 ft x 14 ft with a 7 ft. ceiling

(someone really tall might feel cramped in this room) with a walk-in

closet. It has a counter with sink, an under-counter refrigerator and

a small stove. The home office and pottery studio share the

downstairs bathroom with this room.

 

We have a great back yard with a large covered patio and a veggie

garden, the produce of which can be shared if the work of the garden

and yard are also shared. Located 1/4 mile from the Ashby Bart

Station, 1/2 mile from Berkeley Bowl, less than a mile from Whole

Foods.
