Guest guest
Peek and Cloppenburg stops selling fur Peek & Cloppenburg one of Europe's largest department store chains, has announced that it will no longer sell fur from 2007, following a 3 year relentless campaign by activists in Germany and Austria. With some 120 large stores throughout Germany and Austria, as well as Holland, Belgium, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia, P & C is an expanding international retailer, and has been one of Europe's main suppliers of real fur in recent years. This announcement is a massive blow to the fur industry, and exposes the myth that fur is coming back into fashion. Well done to all those who contributed to the campaign.
