Vegetarian Cooking Class - Comfort Food for Chilly Nights

VEGETARIAN COOKING CLASS: COMFORT FOOD FOR CHILLY AUTUMN NIGHTS

This is a wonderful class for learning to make those foods that warm us from the

inside out. As the days begin to get shorter and the nights longer (and cooler),

join us for what will be a fun class packed with nutritious, delicious food -

and lots of sampling. We use seasonal, local, organic ingredients and feature a

TASTE TEST at the end of each class.

 

Join us as we cook up:

 

*Hearty Three-Bean Chili

*Mushroom Risotto

*Peanut Pumpkin Soup

*Grilled Polenta

*Farm-Fresh Applesauce with Caramelized Pecans

TASTE TEST: A variety of farmer's market apples and their uses in cooking,

baking, and eating

 

WHEN: Saturday, October 14th -- 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

COST: $45, plus $5 food/materials fee due on day of class

payment, at which time we will send you a confirmation via email.

DEADLINE TO SIGN UP: Friday October 13th

WHAT TO EXPECT: In our monthly demonstration cooking classes, we feature

uncomplicated recipes, debunk myths regarding plant-based eating, eat yummy food

samples, and have a lot of fun! Committed to using local, seasonal, mostly

organic ingredients, we provide students with copies of the featured recipes,

coupons for local groceries and restaurants, and a bevy of resources on

nutrition, cooking tips, and more!
