Riley Lee (http://rileylee.net) will be in the bay area for a couple of days, visting from Australia, in early November and on Friday, November 3 i will be hosting his solo performance accompanied by this 4 course meal. This will be the last shakuhachi player on the series for quite some time except for the one in the kitchen Soup: Mushroom miso soup (maitake and enoki) w/ scallions, tofu Salad : Carrot beet daikon salad with sesame dressing Pickle: burdock with sesame, Szechwan peppercorn, sake, shoyu Entrée: Pistachio crusted tempeh with shitake gravy w/ pureed, spiced butternut squash and dandelion greens w/ walnut miso dressing Desert: pumpkin pie tofu, miso and tempeh will all be homeade all vegan and all organic ingredients.
