Important to change petition wording re Bio Lab

Dear Tri-Valley Cares and concerned citizens:

 

PROBLEM: The " What we think " section of the second page of the current

petition against the Bio Lab said, " This is the wrong place to experiment with

these deadly bioagents, " (clearly suggesting there is a right place) and " This

research ...instead should be in civilian government labs to avoid creating an

international perception that the US is developing offensive bioweapons, "

(clearly suggesting that the operation will be fully defensive, and, worse, that

it is okay to perform cruel " defensive " experiments as long as it is in civilian

government labs).

 

The truth is they are going to aerosolize the bioagents, plus who knows what

else, which means they are in fact developing offensive bioweapons in the guise

of defense. Read the above again and you'll see what I mean. They have even

developed more dangerous agents already. Folks will get the wrong idea that

it's a noble cause - just please don't do it in our neighborhood idea.
