NEW this month only!

Demonstrate against KFC at the Fleet Week Air Show!

SUNDAY, October 8, 2006. 2:00 p.m.

Meet at the Flagpoles at the entrance to Pier 39. Leaflet for one hour.

[FYI, the Fleet Week Air Show is from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. and the Blue Angels

are scheduled to perform just as our demonstration ends, so the crowd should

be sizeable.]

This anti-KFC Demo is on in sun, fog or light drizzle, but canceled

in the event of rain.

Join the Veggie Jews' Tsedakah Brigade and the San Francisco

Vegetarian Society and participate in the PETA campaign against Kentucky

Fried Cruelty (see _www.Kentuckyfriedcruelty.com_

(http://www.kentuckyfriedcruelty.com/) ). You can educate the public regarding

KFC's treatment of chickens

by passing out leaflets at the entrance to Pier 39, beginning at 2:00 p.m.

for one hour. PETA is providing the literature.

Parking will be very problematical during Fleet Week, so public transit is

recommended. See _www.511.org_ (http://www.511.org/) for public transit trip

planning for the entire Bay Area. This site gives routes, times, fares and

length of your trip.

[Note: there is no Advocates' Luncheon this month, although participating

folks may informally go for a bite to eat or a drink after the demonstration

hour.]
