The US Post Office wrote the following in response to my inquiry and protest

regarding a new Colonel Saunders stamp. Bonnie Knight, San Francisco

 

This stamp has not been approved, but is in the process. Feel free to

provide your input to the following department by writing a letter:

 

CITIZENS STAMP ADVISORY COMMITTEE

C/O STAMP DEVELOPMENT

US POSTAL SERVICE

475 L'ENFANT PLAZA SW RM 5670

WASHINGTON DC 20260-2437
