Hello Everyone -- There will be an evening of education and action addressing global, national and local food justice this Wednesday, November 15, 7 - 9 p.m., at New College Cultural Center, 766 Valencia, San Francisco. The evening is titled " Eating Locally, Thinking Globally " and will feature the following panel of speakers: Eric Holt-Gimenez, Executive Director of Food First Christopher D. Cook, author of " Diet for a Dead Planet " Gwndolyn Smith, Literature for Environmental Justice Paul Jones, San Francisco Food Systems. Special guests are Supervisors Sophie Maxwell (vegetarian!) and Ross mirkarimi. The event is free! Just thought you all might want to know about this important upcoming event.
