Guest guest
A friend who is a vegan caught serious food poisoning in a Mexican restaurant in L.A. and as a result, was hospitalized last year. The Center for Disease Control investigated the incident and determined that same cutting board where the raw chicken was cut before cooking was used to prepare his salad without the cutting board being washed at all!! Taco Bell is owned by Yum! Brands, who also operate Kentucky Fried Cruelty, often in the same buildings. The profits from Taco Bell go to the same corporate entity, even if you only order a bean burrito. The moral of the story is: if you are a vegetarian or vegan, patronize local veg*n restaurants, not Taco Bell!
