Massage Therapist Looking for A Room to rent in exchange for Massage.

Hello Folks.

Im a massage therapist, currently residing in Oakland, near Lake Merritt.

In my current situation I trade massage for rent. Ive lived here for

about 2 months, and my last place I lived at for over a year where I

also traded massage for rent. Im on good terms with both roomates, but

do to personal circumstances with my former and current roomate, I

had/have to move out by mid January, as a family member in need is

coming to move into my current place.

I'm looking for a similar situation, preferably in San Francisco.

Ideally Id like to be centrally located, not far from

downtown/church-market-castro/haight, etc...

My last place was near Alamo Sq. and that was ideal!

I trade 2 massages a week (valued at 70 dollars a massage) so that

adds up to about 560 a month in massage. I do swedish, shiatsu, deep

tissue, reflexology, reiki, pre and post event sports massage,

pregnancy massage, and other techniques Ive picked up.

My massages are therapeutic and NON-sexual.

I'm vegan, a non-smoker, and I dont drink as well, or smoke pot.

I dont mind living with non-vegans, but I cant live somewhere with

smoking IN the house (due to allergies) but pets don't bother me (i

have none)

I also do massage from home, so it would need to be a place where that

is not a problem. I did that in my past 2 places, and it was not an

issue. Most clients come during the daytime and early evening, are

quiet, and in and out.

As for cleanliness, I'm moderate. It really all depends on my

roomates...I keep it to your standards. My current roomate is super

neat, so I am here.

I'm also gay, so I need to be in a gay/queer friendly house, and Im

also respectful of noise. My current roomate is a straight woman, and

my last a gay male. I do not discriminate.

Just for little things, my musical tastes really vary....its a wide

range, and I do watch tv now and then, tho Im not sitting in front of

it all day (and I dont have cable where I am now...so even less so) Im

spiritual, into natural healing, like to do volunteer work etc.

I wont throw big loud parties but I do like to have friends over once

and awhile for dinners and whatnot.
