In San Francisco, people with pets have been having a harder time finding a place to live than those without pets. Most people, especially animal lovers, agree that it animal guardians should not be " discriminated " against by landlords in this way. Rex Reginald came up with a solution that he believes will help animal guardians: http://www.examiner.com/ a-209162~Rent_hike_a_lure_for_pet_friendly_landlords.html? setEdition=Houston Most people, especially animal lovers, agree that there should be pet- friendly housing. However, some of them have different ideas on how to make it happen. For example, some people think there should be a rent hike to landlords for allowing pets into their apartments, while some people are very much against it because it discriminates against poor people. If you have a solution on how to make pet-friendly housing be available to everyone in San Francisco, come to this meeting! The Animal Welfare and Control Commission hearing on Thursday, March 8, 2007, starts at 5:15 p.m. in City Hall, Room 408, San Francisco. City Hall technically is at 1 Carlton B. Goodlett Place, but it is at Polk and Grove, the ornate building with the golden dome.
