Her talk, " Getting to the Meat of the Matter: Debunking the Top Ten Myths about Vegetarianism, " is instructive and entertaining. Also included will be a showing of the Compassionate Cook DVD as well as a Meat-Out video " Healthy, Wealthy & Wise, " and a delicious vegan lunch. This event is aimed at helping people transition to a healthy, ethical, environmentally sound vegan diet. It will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2007, from 11:30 - 3:30 p.m. at the First Unitarian Universalist Center, 1187 Franklin Street (corner of Geary Blvd.), San Francisco.
