A couple of years ago, I saw a group that handed out samples of vegan

alternatives to ice cream during the below event.

Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Day - Enjoy a scoop of famous Ben & Jerry's

ice cream on the house from Noon to 8pm. Be warned, the lines can get

long so please arrive early or bring a good book! There are several

Bay Area locations, please contact store directly to make sure they

are participating in the 2007 free cone day.
