Sending this email because this issue is near and dear to many people.

There was an article in today's San Francisco Paper that many

telemarketing call's are still getting through to potential customers

even after people registered their telephone numbers and email

addresses.

I also talked to someone yesterday that verifies that information.

To register your telephone numbers and your email address in the Do

Not Call Registry, please go to www.donotcall.gov or call 1-888-382-

1222.

Registration is good for five years.

Since this Federal Do Not Call Registry started in 2003, many

consumers will have their registration expire next year.

This service is free.

Personally, I also have Privacy Manager with my telephone company. I

have gone from three telemarketing calls every day to one every two

years. I don't know if all telephone companies provide this service.

If you want to keep getting telemarketing calls, you can do nothing.

thanks,
