Guest guest
Vegan and vegetarian restaurants will only thrive if we patronize them. It is important that whenever possible, when we vegetarians/vegans dine out, that we choose vegetarian restaurants and not omnivore restaurants where there is " something you can have. " Vegetarian restaurants count on the veggie community for support. Case in point, I have heard that one of my absolute favorite veggie restaurants in San Francisco, Bok Choy Gardens, could use some more business. (1820 Clement St., near 19th Avenue in the Richmond District in San Francisco.) Bok Choy Gardens has a delicious plant-based Chinese cuisine, attentive service and low prices. There is a banquet room for group parties, too. The menu is sizeable. I've eaten there about a dozen times. Originally, I tried a different entre each time, but after I tried the stuffed shitake mushrooms with broccoli, the food was so tasty, that I now order that entre every time I eat there. I highly recommend all their dishes, however. I'm going to host an event there under the VeggieJews umbrella in mid-June (stay tuned! day and time to be announced), but in the meantime, if you're dining out, give Bok Choy Gardens your business. By the way, I have no professional connection with the restaurant whatsoever. I just like their food and want to see them succeed. Sincerely, Bonnie Knight, San Francisco ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
