will cool you down on a hot day.]

Banana Cocoa Shake

You can look forward to a deliciously fulfilling morning treat with

this easy-to-make Banana Chocolate Shake. Bananas are loaded with

potassium, an essential mineral for maintaining normal blood pressure

and heart function.

They are also a good source of Vitamin C and fiber. Cocoa beans

contain antioxidants and a variety of vitamins that are beneficial

for long-term health. Check out the health article below!

Ingredients: <http://www.veganchef.com/chocshake.htm>

3-4 cups frozen bananas, cut into 2-inch chunks

1 cup soy milk, rice milk, or other non-dairy milk of choice

3 Tbs. cocoa powder

2 Tbs. maple syrup

1 tsp. vanilla

1/4 cup walnuts (optional)

1 1/2 Tbs. vegan protein powder (optional)

Directions:

1. Remove banana chunks from freezer and allow them to thaw for 5-10

minutes.

2. Place banana chunks in a blender, along with the remaining

ingredients, and blend for 2-3 minutes to thoroughly mix flavors.

3. Serve and enjoy!
