Cornbread Rolls ½ cup cornmeal 1 ½ cups flour ½ teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons sugar* 2 teaspoons baking powder ½ teaspoon baking soda ¼ cup egg substitute ¾ cup plan lowfat yogurt** Preheat oven to 425F. Mix all ingredients, stirring to make a soft dough. Roll out to ¼ inch and then cut into 2 " rounds. Fold in half. Bake on ungreased baking sheet for 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes about 24 rolls. Each roll contains 50 calories. Mermaidude *I used Sucanat (unrefined sugar) *I used soy yogurt These taste a little like biscuits, but with way less fat.
