ORGANIZING MEETING - 8/23 - 7:30pm - For eclipse road trip

Hey Everyone,

 

The Vegan Eclipse Road Trip is only a week away!

 

So it's time to get organized.

 

There will be a MANDATORY planning meeting on Thursday August 23, at 7:30pm

Place: IOA, 3600 Geary Blvd, Between Palm and Arguello in San Francisco.

 

At the meeting we will

(1) collect checks (made out to San Francisco Vegetarian Scoiety) to pay for our

hotel rooms. You can either share a room, or have your own. - I will give exact

price quotes at the meeting

(2) organize the carpools

(3) distribute maps and directions

(4) plan entertainment

 

Then on Friday, based on received checks, I will make the reservations.

 

Here is the plan thus far:

 

Monday, August 27

- leave San Franciso at about 3:30pm

- have dinner at Vegetarian House, San Jose at 5pm

- drive to Hollister

- arrive at Best Western at 7:30pm, then sleep a while

- wake up at 11:30pm, go southward to observation spot

Tuesday, August 28

- watch eclipse

- drive back to Hollister before dawn

- sleep some more

- eat breakfast

- return to S.F. about 11am
