Eclipse Road Trip Cancelled - possible future 'galaxy' road trip instead.

Hi All,

 

The eclipse road trip has been cancelled.

 

A small group met tonight and decided that given the timing of the eclipse being

on a weekday night at an inconvenient time and lack of participants it wasn't

going to work out.

 

However we will try again later in the year to organize a 'galaxy' road trip

which will take place over a weekend. For that event we'll select a weekend in

the fall without moonlight and travel to a location with nice dark skies and

perhaps in collaboration with the SF astronomy club we'll observe planets,

galaxies, nebulas, and so forth.
