**PLEASE FORWARD FAR & WIDE**

Please join Colleen Patrick-Goudreau of Compassionate Cooks to celebrate the

publication of her new cookbook, The Joy of Vegan Baking: Compassionate Cooks'

Traditional Treats & Sinful Sweets on Sunday, October 14th, from 4:30 p.m.-8:30

p.m. at the First Unitarian Church of Oakland - 685 14th St. at Castro - in

downtown Oakland. Visit the Evite.

This high-energy, music-filled celebration will feature many homemade goodies

from Colleen's cookbook, including pies, cakes, breads, cookies, and even hot

and cold beverages. Some savory finger food will be available as well.

Colleen will be answering questions about vegan baking and, of course, will be

signing copies of her book. Please feel free to bring a friend - or two or

three - and come ready to partake in the sugar love! Check out the beautiful new

Joy of Vegan Baking website - http://www.joyofveganbaking.com
