With all of the flavor but none of the animal fat, these healthful and delicious dishes will satisfy and impress. We feature mostly local, in-season, organic ingredients. Join us as we cook up: *Smokin' Barbecued Tofu *Hoppin' John (Black-eyed Peas and Rice) with Sauteed Greens *Spicy Okra Rice Soup *Creamy Vegan Macaroni & Cheese *Sweet Bread Pudding WHEN: Saturday, October, 13th -- 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. WHERE: First Unitarian Church of Oakland, 685 14th St. at Castro.
