In our November 10th class, we celebrate the abundance of the harvest by featuring a fabulous menu for a compassionate Thanksgiving dinner that will leave guests satisfied and grateful. Two recipes are from Colleen's new Cookbook, The Joy of Vegan Baking: Compassionate Cooks Traditional Treats and Sinful Sweets. We serve special beverages and enjoy the meal together for this special class. *Autumn Harvest Squash, Fennel, and Apple Soup *Mushroom Phyllo with Delicata Squash and Porcini Mushroom Sauce *Mashed Root Vegetables with Fresh Herbs *Rosemary Drop Biscuits *German Apple Cake WHEN: Saturday, November 10th -- 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. WHERE: First Unitarian Church of Oakland, 685 14th St. at Castro. COST: $55, plus $5 food/materials fee due on day of class (Sign up for both November and December and pay $105 + $3 in-class food fee.)
