All details are below! see you there SAN FRANCISCO MAYOR'S OFFICE PROCLAIMS OCTOBER 27TH " think13 DAY " FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE AND MUSIC INNOVATION The San Francisco Mayor's Office has proclaimed October 27th as " think 13 Day " with the formal proclamation being presented to think13 at their Halloween Costume Special and VAGABOOM! Youth Arts Education Program Info Roll-out on October 27th at the Project Artaud Theater located at 450 Florida Street in San Francisco. The Art and Entertainment Liaison from the San Francisco Mayor's office, Patti Carlise, will present the " think13 Day " October 27th Proclamation Award on behalf of Mayor Gavin Newson at the end of the show. Representatives at the San Francisco Mayor's Office stated that " think13 is dedicated to restoring " balance " in both the local community and the music industry, using the stage as their canvas. In addition, think 13's numerous community events and the upcoming launch of their non-profit Youth Performance Arts Education Program, VAGABOOM! with think13, are innovators at subtly fostering social connectedness, spiritual awareness and unity consciousness. " think 13 will perform their groundbreaking presentation of " Balance " at the Halloween Costume Special on October 27th at the Project Artaud. " Balance " takes you on a journey into your known unknown. Set in the realm of dream world, anything can happen. Think about it . . . what would happen if you were " awake " and in control of your dreams? Who would you meet? Where would you be taken? What may be revealed? Who would you become? Anything is possible. The think13 duo of Dee Kennedy (Kilkenny, Ireland) and Christoph (United States) blend tribal, progressive and pop and rock into a tightly themed music experience with the haunting vocals of Kennedy layered over think13's rockin' tribal music production. think13's stage show presents a collaboration of artists encompassing visual displays, narration, Fire/Light/LED performance display and modern dance performances to think13's original music. " VAGABOOM! with think13 Youth Performance Arts Education Program will begin in November, December and January, " said Dee Kennedy. " We want to provide arts education sessions to our youth during the time they are out of school for the Holidays, " Kennedy added. " Included in the VAGABOOM! Program are sessions in singing, playing musical instruments, stage management, lighting design, sound design, roadie-ism, self-esteem building through accomplishment and teamwork. We want to make VAGABOOM! a unique and learning arts experience for our youth, " she said. VAGABOOM! with think13 will offer a culmination performance with each participant putting into practice all that they have learned, invites to family, friends and the community and Certificates of Completion. think13's Halloween Costume Special advance tickets are on sale at www.groovetickets.com or on the night of the Event at the Project Artaud Box Office for $20 for Adults and $13 for Seniors, Students and Kids under 13. Project Artaud doors will open at 7:00 p.m. to allow enjoyment of the Halloween Costume Special lobby area and access to VAGABOOM! with think13 Youth Arts Education information. The Project Artaud lobby area will include Tricks-or-Treats, Magicians, Stilters, Jugglers, Community Murals, a " Live " Artist creating on-the-spot caricatures and VAGABOOM! info and sign-up sheets.
