Guest guest
Hi friends, I find the signature gathering for the Humane Initiative very enjoyable because just mentioning the animals gets people thinking about what they are eating. It's educating people at the same time. And think of the many eyes that will read the initiative when it gets on the ballot after we succeed in getting 650,000. We are not even close, now, so we have to really dive in ASAP or we might never catch up. But never say never. It's really worth it. Each signature is a wake-up call to each individual to think twice about eating animals. It's a great way to spend our time. (You'll get three very sad photos to show people when they don't know what you're talking about. They'll get the point.) It's great going to universities, because people are younger and a LOT nicer. Anyone want to go to UC Berkeley to gather? I'd love to carpool with someone or take the BART to meet up. (I'm in Hayward.) If you haven't signed up, yet, it's at www.humanecalifornia.org .
