Hello animal advocates!

Would you like battery cages, gestation crates, and veal crates to be baned?

California has a tremendous opportunity to make this happen through the

Californians for Humane Farms' initiative, sponsored bythe Humane Society of the

US, Farm Sanctuary, and others. Over 2000 people from around California have

signed up to gather signatures for this historic campaign, which would send the

rest of the country--and world--a message that raising animals in conditions so

small that they cannot turn aroud, stand up, or even move is unacceptable .

Come to one of our upcoming events these next 2 weeks to learn more about the

campaign, to get matierlas, to get trained to gather signatures, to get

connected with other people in your area who are gathering and whom you can

partner with, and to learn other ways you can make a difference for animals! We

promise that they will be informative, motivational and fun!

RSVPs are appreciated, though you are still welcome if you can't RSVP!

While we've got lots of momentum and are really picking up the pace, we are

still far behind our signature goals, so we must build on this enthusiasm by

getting more people more invoved and turn it into even more signatures! We have

just 3 months left in this sprint/marathon! Now is the time to meet other

volunteers, get your questions answered, get up your courage, and get out there

making a difference for these animals!

Please help publicize these events, come, and bring others who are supportive,

too!
