what do vegetarians think of recycled, regenerated leather recuped from scraps?

hi dear fellow vegetarians,

i am a eco shoe designer with a new collection of stylish almost vegan

footwear, who is also a long time vegetarian AND and an eco gal.

 

would like to solicit thoughts from the veg. public out there for

input: what do you think of recycled leather soles made from

recuperated scraps, regenerated with natural rubber and given a new life?

 

it is not vegetarian, but is is much more ecological than the PU soles

that is being used as a substitute as leather. It is biodegradable and

wears like leather...i'm convinced, are you?

 

you(the vegetarian women) are my target customer, so i appreciate your

feedback.
