Guest guest
i stopped by there a couple weeks ago and it's nice. i had the split pea soup to go [since i already had eaten but wanted to give them a try], and it was tasty. the name comes from the owner's son's name who runs the place. good guy and friendly pleasant atmosphere. brian --- carmen_cebs <carmen_cebs wrote: > SFVS Discount Provider Petite Café has changed its > name to Café > Mereb with a new website, www.cafemereb.com. 1541 > Clement St./17th > Ave., SF 94121, 415-668-2988. 10% off catering & > all meals over $8. > > Daily menu items include crepes (veggie, curry tofu, > pesto veggie, > cinnamon apple, fruit, nutella, etc.), Mediterranean > deli (falafel, > hummus, fava bean, etc.), specialty wraps, salads, > soup, bagels, soy > milk & fruit smoothies, etc. > > Weekend menu includes Eritrean dishes such as > aleecha (baked > vegetable curry), hamli (mustard green slow cooked > in Eritrean > spices), bamia (okra cooked in Eritrean sauce), > shurro (chickpeas > cooked in Eritrean sauce).
