Animal Advocacy Meeting 2/7: Please sign Prevention of Farm Animal Cruelty Act petition!

The Animal Advocacy Working Group of the San Francisco Green Party

(AWG) is involved in animal issues in San Francisco, and enables

animal activists to make the legislature in City Hall aware of these

issues, and influence them pass laws that protect the animals .

 

All activists are welcome.

 

I also highly recommend all of you to come because handwritten

signatures are needed to put the Prevention of Farm Cruelty Act on

the November 2008 state ballot. If you cannot make it to this

Volunteers are also needed to help collect signatures. To get

involved, contact Californians for Humane Farms at 415.772.0952, and

ask to speak to Nora Kramer or Laura Beck, who are coordinating Bay

At 7PM, people will arrive to order dinner if they need it, and the

official meeting will start at 7:30PM.
