Guest guest
*Greens Vegetarian Restaurant's Sesame Noodle Recipe* (It takes less than 15 minutes from start to finish and it's delicious... as with all recipes, feel free to tweak it to your preferences) 1 box of thin or angel hair Barilla spaghetti or Asian noodles 7 T dark sesame oil 7 T tamari or soy sauce 3 T balsamic vinegar 3 T sugar 1 bunch (8-10) scallions 3 T fresh chopped cilantro 2 1/2 t salt cubed tofu (optional) 1 T red pepper oil or some chili flakes (optional) Drain the noodles and immediately rinse them in cold water to stop the cooking. After they are cool and drained transfer them to the bowl you will use to store or serve them. Pour in the rest of the ingredients and toss. If you want to add tofu, just drain, cube, and lightly steam or fry it before adding. This dish can stay fresh for about a week as long as it is stored in the refrigerator; just take the noodles out about an hour before you serve them (it tastes best room temperature).
