This week we have a simple but very important task for you: please get your own veterinarian to endorse the Prevention of Farm Animal Cruelty Act. Having the support of veterinarians really strengthens our campaign, making this is one of the most important ways you can help animals right now. The opposition is already galvanizing their support in California, so we must act immediately. We currently have the endorsement of 160 veterinarians. We want to bring this number up to 1,000. This is possible, but we need your help. So many of you did such an amazing job gathering signatures, it should be no problem to get your veterinarian to simply sign an endorsement form. So please make a commitment this week to getting the endorsement of your veterinarian. Endorsement forms and other informational materials you will need to take to your vet are available here: https://www.humanecalifornia.org/content/index.php?pid=55 Beginning this Sunday we will start the second-phase campaign kickoffs in Northern California. Paul Shapiro, Senior Director of the Humane Society of the U.S.’ factory farming campaign and Julie Janovsky, Campaigns Director for Farm Sanctuary, will be speaking at these events. This is a great opportunity to meet other volunteers in your area and learn how you can help win this victory for animals in November. Hope to see you at one of these events!
