Some of you ride MUNI, the San Francisco Bus System.

You may be aware that the San Francisco Municipal Transportation

Agency wants to make changes in certain routes and discontinue other

routes.

The changes may be greater than most people imagined.

There are groups of people in the Haight/Ashbury Heights area and the

Castro area that are not liking some of the proposed changes. My guess

is that there are similar reactions all around town.

 

The 7 Haight would be gone and the 6 Parnassus would be rerouted.

The 22, 24, 33, 37, 35 would have route changes.

There are many other changes, some good, some bad. (Of course, your

opinion on whether the changes are good or bad depends on whether the

changes help you or hinder you).
