Guest guest
Great article on ESPN Sports today. It offers a pretty extensive profile on various pro athletes; sharing how and why they came to choose a vegetarian diet. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story? page=keri/080616 As any vegetarian knows, chiding always seems to be part of the deal. Male athletes get it in spades. You'll see some examples of that in this article. (Prince Fielder, home-run hitting first baseman for the Milwaukee Brewers, is another example. When he was eating meat, he would be yelled at by spectators, " Stop eating hamburgers! " because of his beefy body. His weight hasn't dropped significantly, but since he has chosen a vegetarian diet, spectators are now yelling, " Eat a hamburger! " ) Enjoy the article.
